3D HomeScan is an insurance-approved solution for meeting your insurance carrierâs documentation requirements. In case of a loss, proof of ownership and value is crucial, yet most homeowners, churches, and commercial property owners will lack proper records. 3D HomeScan offers the easiest way to inventory your home or commercial property and appraise specific items. The entire process is quick and economical, completed in just a few hours by a single 3D camera operator and powered by Matterport.
This revolutionary service creates an interactive 3D video so detailed, you can identify individual high-value assets, record descriptions, and take exact measurements. You can then order optional certified appraisals directly from the video to create or add to a valuable articles policy. If you wait until after a loss, the video can help you reconstruct the contents of your property and order appraisals for your insurance claim.
Many homeowners also find 3D HomeScan invaluable for estate planning and settlement allowing users to tag and designate specific items to beneficiaries.
For clients who want their entire home, church, or business cataloged and appraised, our All-Inclusive package is ideal. This popular service includes multiple digital reports useful for evaluating your insurance contents coverage: a detailed room-by-room inventory with high-quality images, individual appraisals, a summary appraisal report, and an inventory spreadsheet. Custom reports are also available. This package also features AVIâs proprietary 3D HomeScan, providing an interactive 3D video of your entire property, contents, and architectural details, both inside and out (weather permitting).
We then calculate your total aggregate value and offer insurance comparisons. In addition, youâll receive a list of appraised assets worth $2500 or more for optional scheduling on a valuable articles schedule. The cost for our All-Inclusive Appraisal package is based on your propertyâs square footage, not an ambiguous hourly rate, and averages less than 1% of your uninsured personal property value.
For clients who wish to have some high-value items appraised but do not want an aggregate valuation of all the personal property in their home, AVI also offers our Appraisal-Only Package. For a flat fee, a professional Inventory Specialist will come into your home, church, or business and digitally document up to 40 items of your choice. Each item will be appraised using the same USPAP-compliantÂč procedures as in our All-Inclusive Package. After 40 items, there will be a per-item fee to appraise each additional asset. In addition, weâll conduct an AVI 3D HomeScan on your entire property, an interactive video inventory of the property in each room, and all the architectural details.
The centerpiece of your report is a detailed appraisal report with high-quality digital images and descriptions for each item appraised. This report can be used to update your homeowners or property insurance and to schedule valuable articles coverage on appraised items, for estate planning or distribution, or for charitable giving.
Many people have no idea that their homeowners, property, or renters insurance policy clearly states âit is your responsibilityâ to provide proof of ownership and condition for the contents of your home or business in the event of a claim. Imagine the peace of mind when your personal property records are securely stored online. The annual fee is only $9.95 and our optional individual appraisals are only $30 each. If you decide to order appraisals for some of your items, your payment of $9.95 will be credited to your first appraisal.

One of the estate attorneyâs most difficult jobs is overseeing the distribution of a clientâs personal property assets after death, especially for items of significant monetary or sentimental value. AVIâs Estate Planning platform helps preserve family relationships and settle details before your death. There are two options. Hereâs how each one works:
Option #1: AVI conducts an All-Inclusive inventory and appraisal of your homeâs contents, including jewelry, and stores detailed information and images of every asset in your secure online account. You can allocate assets yourself or give beneficiaries direct access to choose items, keeping you in control.
Option #2: As an alternative to our All-Inclusive service, 3D HomeScan provides an interactive 3D video of your home and its contents. Appraisals are optional and priced individually. The benefactor and the heirs can virtually navigate the home, tagging and allocating items as they go. Rest assuredâ your final wishes will be followed!
